Best UPI Credit Cards in India 2025 – Compare Cashback, Rewards & Fees

Most people think all UPI Credit Cards are the same — scan a QR, pay, done. But the truth is, they’re very different when it comes to cashback, rewards, fees, and ease of use. Picking the right card can turn your daily UPI payments into big savings.

If you’re searching for the best UPI credit card in India 2025, here’s a detailed comparison of popular RuPay UPI credit cards like Kiwi, Jupiter Edge+, Scapia, and SuperMoney.

1. Kiwi RuPay Credit Card

  • Kiwi offers a RuPay credit card issued by YES Bank or AU small finance bank. This card can be linked to UPI on Kiwi app. You get a minimum of 1.5% cashback on all offline UPI transactions. It is an ideal card for people who spend heavily on UPI.
  • Fees: Lifetime free — no joining or annual charges. Kiwi neon membership costs ₹999 per year.
  • UPI Payments: Works seamlessly on all UPI QR scanners via the Kiwi app.
  • Cashback:
    • Minimum 1.5% cashback on all offline UPI spends. This cashback is instantly credited as Kiwi in your Kiwi account.
    • Up to 5% cashback for Kiwi Neon members
    • The cashback is capped at 1% of your credit card limit
    • Real cashback (not coins or points). You can withdraw it directly into your bank account.
  • Drawback: Online spends earn only 0.5% cashback. Transactions below 100 are eligible only for special rewards.

Why choose it: If you want a lifetime free credit card for UPI with simple, no-strings cashback, Kiwi stands out.

2. Jupiter Edge+ RuPay Credit Card

  • Jupiter Edge+ RuPay credit card is issued by CSB Bank. It is an ideal card for online shopping for it gives 10% cashback on apps like amazon, flipkart, myntra, ajio etc.
  • Fees: ₹499 joining fee (no annual fee later).
  • Cashback/reward :
    • 10% cashback on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra (capped at ₹1,500 per billing cycle; max ₹500 per merchant).
    • 5% cashback on travel bookings (capped at ₹1,000 per billing cycle).
    • 1% cashback on UPI spends .
    • Credited in form of Jewels. 1 Jewel = ₹0.20.
    • Once you hit the monthly cap for shopping or travel rewards, any further transactions in those categories will earn the standard 1% cashback rate, including any UPI transactions.
    • Jewels can be redeemed for cash, gift cards, digital gold, or bill payments. Jewels are redeemable as cash on the Jupiter App.
    • Minimum of 100 Jewels need to be accumulated prior to redemption. Jewels can expire if the user defaults on payments.
    • The total cashback across all rewards on the card is capped at ₹3,000 worth of Jewels each month
  • Drawbacks: The big rewards are largely for online shopping platforms; offline usage may not benefit as much. Significant capping on cashback can be disappointing for users. Also, jewels converted into cash can only be adjusted against credit card bill. Users have also reported that they need to select a few categories in the beginning of the month itself, and only those categories will be eligible for cashback. You can only select one category out of travelling, dining or shopping, and after locking in your choice, you can only change it after three billing cycles.

Why choose it: Perfect for users who shop frequently on Amazon, Flipkart, or Myntra and also spend on travel.

3. Scapia RuPay Credit Card – Best for Travel Lovers

  • Scapia offers a lifetime free card issued by the Federal Bank. It is an ideal card for people who travel frequently. It offers zero forex on international spends. It comes in two variants: Visa and RuPay. RuPay can be linked to UPI
  • Fees: Lifetime free (no joining or annual fee).
  • Rewards:
    • Rewards come as Scapia Coins (1 coin = ₹0.20).
    • 5% Scapia coins on UPI spends above ₹500. If you spend ₹1000 through this card, you receive 50 Scapia Coins, with an effective value of ₹10, which is 1% of total spend.
    • 20% Scapia coins rewards on travel bookings via Scapia app. If you spend ₹5000 on travel, you receive 1000 Scapia Coins, with an effective value of ₹200, which is 4% of total spend.
    • Domestic airport lounge access and airport benefits (capped at ₹1000 per day) are conditional. They unlock only by spending ₹10,000 (Visa) or ₹15,000 (RuPay) on the card each month.
    • Scapia coins can be redeemed for travel bookings (flights, hotels, trains, buses, visas) on the Scapia app. You can use Scapia Coins to pay up to 100% of your booking value.
    • There is no cap on how many Scapia coins you can earn, making it a high rewarding card.
    • No rewards earned on international transactions.
    • Scapia Coins do not have an expiration date, but you must use your card at least once a year to keep them from expiring
  • Zero forex; ideal for people who frequently travel internationally.
  • Drawback: not a beneficial card for people who don’t travel often; not ideal for everyday expenses. The coins can be redeemed on only Scapia app and cannot be redeemed as real cash. Scapia, being a travel card, does not offer international lounge access. Some users have also reported that Scapia reduced credit limit without notification.

    • Cashback can expire if you default on your credit card bill payments.
  • Drawback: limited and delayed cashback can be disappointing for users who are reward hungry or require extensive benefits. Cashback received cannot be withdrawn into the user’s bank account; instead it is adjusted against the monthly statement. Users have reported multiple transaction failures for this card.

Why choose it: good options for users who want decent cashback without complicated rewards, though the cap may be restrictive.
