Once your bill is generated it appears on the Kiwi app home screen. Tap it to pay.

Your billing date and due date are shown in ###Card management###. Tap your card on the home screen to see them.

The minimum amount due is a small part of your total bill, usually around 5%, plus any EMI instalments, fees and interest.

Paying only the minimum keeps your account in good standing, but interest continues on the balance you have not paid, and you lose the interest free period on new spending. Paying the full amount avoids both.

Yes. You can pay any amount at any time before the due date, either part of the bill or all of it.

Automatic payment of your credit card bill is not available in the Kiwi app at the moment, so please pay each month from the app.

You will get a reminder when your bill is generated.

Paying your bill

If you paid inside the Kiwi app, the payment reflects straight away.

If you paid through another app or through your bank directly, it can take time to reach us even though the payment has gone through successfully.

What to do

Your bill amount is fixed once it is generated. Your current outstanding keeps moving as you continue to use the card.

So an outstanding figure that rises after you have paid is usually new spending since the bill was generated, rather than a problem with your payment.

To check, compare your bill amount with your outstanding. The difference is your new spending, which will appear on your next bill.

When a bill payment does not complete and the amount has been debited, a refund is started automatically and reaches you within 7 working days.

We would suggest paying the bill again in the meantime, so that a late fee is not applied.

A late fee is applied by the bank based on when your payment reaches them, which can be later than when you made it. This is most common when a payment is made close to the due date, or through another app.

Paying only the minimum amount due can also leave interest and charges on the balance.

If you paid the full amount before the due date and still see a late fee, write to us from the ###Need Help### section of the app with the payment reference and we will take it up.

Your statement is emailed to you every month at your registered email address.

You can also download it from your card issuing bank's own app.

A small difference is often a fuel surcharge. Fuel payments carry a surcharge applied by the card network, and banks frequently credit it back separately.

Larger differences are usually new spending after the bill was generated, or fees and interest from a previous cycle.

If the difference still does not make sense, send us your card statement for that period from the ###Need Help### section of the app and we will go through it with you.

Charges and statements

Other cards are credit cards that were not issued through the Kiwi app. You can add them under ###My Cards### on the home screen and pay their bills from Kiwi.

Check that the card details you entered are correct.

If they are, your bank may not have generated the bill yet. Please try again in a few days.

Please check the card number, expiry date and name carefully and try again.

If it still does not add, write to us from the ###Need Help### section of the app with the bank name and the last four digits of the card.
