You can pay your monthly rent from the Kiwi app using your credit card. The money goes to your landlord's bank account or UPI ID.

Your landlord completes a one time confirmation before the money is released to them.

Tuition fees work in the same way as rent. Add the institution's bank account or UPI ID, enter the amount, and pay with your credit card.

The PAN confirms the money is going to a genuine individual or institution. It is a one time check that keeps the feature safe for everyone.

You only need to enter it once for each recipient. It is used for verification and is not shared with anyone.

If your recipient does not want to share their PAN, we will not be able to process the payment through this feature.

You can make up to 3 rent payments a month, and no more than 2 within any 24 hour period.

A convenience fee is added to each payment, and it is shown to you before you confirm.

Your card issuing bank may apply its own charges as well. Please check your card's terms.

Rewards on these payments depend on your card issuing bank's own policy, and many banks do not give rewards on rent.

Rent and tuition

The receiver's number cannot be changed once the payment has been created.

Because the recipient will not be able to confirm it, the payment is cancelled automatically after ###24 hours### and refunded to the same card.

Once the refund is back, create a new payment with the correct number.

Where the recipient does not complete their confirmation step, the payment is cancelled automatically and the amount is refunded to your card within ###5 to 7 working days###. Nothing is needed from you.

Once the refund is back, you can make a fresh payment.

Most payments complete within 15 to 30 minutes.

If the recipient has not completed their confirmation, the payment is cancelled automatically after 24 hours and refunded to your card.

You can track the status under ###Rent payment via credit card### in the app.

Ask them to check the bank account linked to the UPI ID or account number you entered, as that is where the money is sent.

Payments can also take a little longer to appear at their end. If the payment shows as successful in the Kiwi app and they still cannot find it after that, write to us from the ###Need Help### section with the payment reference.

Once a payment has gone through successfully it cannot be cancelled.

If it fails, the full amount including the convenience fee is refunded to your card.

When a rent or tuition payment does not complete

You can pay electricity, water, gas, broadband and other utility bills from the Kiwi app.

Utilities are an excluded category for rewards, so these payments do not earn Kiwis.

You can recharge your FASTag from the Kiwi app. Recharges usually reflect within a short while.

If a recharge does not reflect and the amount was debited, write to us from the ###Need Help### section with your vehicle number and the amount.

You can recharge prepaid mobile and DTH connections from the Kiwi app using your credit card or a linked account.

You can buy brand gift cards from the Kiwi app. Once bought, the voucher appears in the app.

Gift cards cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded. Validity and usage terms are set by the brand and are shown before you buy.

You can book domestic flights from the Kiwi app and pay with your credit card.

We book on IndiGo, Air India, Air India Express, Akasa Air, SpiceJet, Vistara, GoAir, Star Air and Alliance Air.

For anything to do with a booking, including a cancellation, a date change, a name correction or a refund, write to us from the ###Need Help### section of the app with your booking reference. We take it from there.

Cancellation and change charges are set by the airline and depend on the fare you booked.

If you are travelling within the next three days, please say so in your first message so that we can prioritise it.

Once a cancellation is processed, the refund is returned to the card you paid with.

The amount depends on the airline's own fare rules, so it can be less than what you paid.
