Why did my UPI PIN setup fail?
The message on your screen tells you which reason applies. The most common ones are below.
- Wrong OTP or wrong PIN: you can try again straight away.
- A message about your Aadhaar number: see the next article. Entering the number again will not help.
- Registration blocked after too many attempts: setup is locked for 24 hours. Further attempts during this time will not go through.
- Card details could not be verified: check that you selected the right card, then try again.
